We were very excited to travel to Cusco and celebrate the Inti Raymi Festival. We traveled on June 24 to Cusco from Lima by bus, to get to enjoy the last three days to this incredible ancient tradition in the Inca city.
On the last day of the festival we went to Sacsayhuaman to see the Inca ritual. The tour began in the Qoricancha then we went to see the dances and walk the Inca on his throne was great, we follow the steps and with all the people alder, as tourists from all over the world. Then we continue to the place of arms of the cusco to see more dances and music.
Finally we went up on foot, when we got upstairs in sacsayhuaman, we could see the Inca dances and ritual with all those wonderful clothes. We finally went up on foot, when we got upstairs in sacsayhuaman, we could see the dances and the ritual of the Inca in Quechua (Incan language) with all those wonderful clothes, it was an incredible and unforgettable day for all of us. Is something that we recommend to all travelers, to experience and feel the Inca culture up close.
The next day we prepared for our trip to the Inca citadel of Machupicchu, but that we left for the next blog.
